Signs Your Headlights Need Repair or Replacing
Your headlights are critical because they allow you to see in the dark, and enable other drivers to see you. Like anything mechanical, headlights can fail. The following are signs that your headlights need replacing or maintenance.
- Yellow or fogged lenses are several of the most obvious signs your headlights are on the brink. Fogging results from headlights that are exposed to UV rays over time. You may be able to clean your headlights with an application and then apply a protective coating.
- Headlights out of alignment can result from hitting potholes or off-roading adventures. If you can’t fix the headlights yourself, you may have to take your car to a shop to get the lights realigned.
There are a lot of signs that your headlights need repairing or changing. If you’re experience any of the above signs, bring your vehicle in for an inspection. Our technicians can suggest solutions, and our sales staff can show you vehicles with high headlight safety ratings.
